Great credit but denied financing

I have a credit score that’s excellent. I’ve been with Xfinity for a decade with internet. I tried to finance a new phone and was denied. I realized my credit was frozen but now even after unfreezing, I can’t get it run again so I’m stuck. No chat agent or call rep has been able to help. Am I just stuck not ever being able to upgrade unless I use a different carrier??
