free smart watch scam FILING A COMPLAINT WITH FCC

Amazing to see how many people have been SCAMMED by Xfinity for the "FREE SMART WATCH".  I have wasted 3 days on the phone with them.  EACH time I must explain the problem EACH time the "rep" says the same thing!  We Bought 2 iPhones in February, and the promotion was a "free smart watch" only pay $10/month for the line.  My husband didn't want one, I didn't either really, but thought it would be nice to have.  My watch showed up a few days after the xfinity service rep helped me set up my phone.  When the watch showed up, I called Xfinity service again to help me set up my watch.  They talked me through it, I said thankyou and hung up.  10 minutes later had to call them back because It would not pair with my phone.  The service rep finally figured out he programed it with a RANDOM NUMBER, NOT EVEN MY CELL NUMBER.  He was very nice and said he would fix it.  After about 15 minutes on the phone, if was fixed and was working great.  Fast forward 6 months and I notice they HAVE BEEN CHARGING ME $13 PLUS A MONTH FOR THE WATCH AND $10/MONTH FOR THE LINE!  MY BILL SHOWS THE WATCH WAS DEACTIVATED AND ACTIVATED THE SAME DAY, YET THEY ARE TELLING ME NOPE I MUST PAY FOR THE WATCH?????   I am just so fed up with Xfinity... they have the most deceptive bait and switch practices I have ever seen.  AT THE ADVICE OF SOMEONE IN THE KNOW... I JUST FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FCC.  IT IS SURPRISINGLY EASY, AND IT MUST BE ADDRESSED AND EXPLAINED BY A SUPERVISOR WITHIN 30 DAYS!

user_8t9a5a Hi there! I'm sorry to read of this experience that you have had with the smartwatch purchase and lack of support. I know how difficult and frustrating it can be when you expect one thing, but another happens. I would love to help out with the account and charges to help make sure that the promotions were honored. With an FCC complaint filed we are limited with our options, but we can reach out to our peers to ensure you are contacted and assisted.

If you would like me to connect with them and follow up with you please send us a direct message with your name and service address. We will be happy to help out in any way we can.
Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.

Thanks for the reply... BUT incase you din't know, the US postal service would be quicker than "Xfinity direct messaging". waiting 20 minutes for a reply to each message is 100% outrageous.  Please call me, so I can start a conversation with you, put you on hold for 20 minutes, come back for a minute and put your on hold for another 20 minutes.  HOW can xfinity wonder why they are rated the absolute worst at customer service?  It's will let the FCC handle it.  The card used for the automatic withdrawals for this account has been locked.  When Xfinity want to get paid, a supervisor can call me directly to discuss how they intend to fix the "Free smart watch" fraud issue, and refund ALL of the payments for it, that they have STOLEN via automatic payments.
