Fraud?

I went to an Xfinity store to help get my phone carrier changed to Xfinity. There the worker couldn't unlock it and offered me a new device, I asked if this new phone would be free and he replied with yes. Then he proceeded to show me a limited selection of phones and when asked if I could pick from other phone choices and he said no because since the phone is free it has to be one of these choices. I ended up picking one of the phones from the selection and then he said he would take my old phone, when asked if the old phone could be kept he said no. He said he HAD to take it since they're giving me this one, I didn't think much of it because this is my first time doing this. Then towards the end the associate asked if I wanted a device protection plan on my phone and I replied with no. I got my bill statement and upon further inspection I see that I am being charged for the "free" phone + device protection plan. I went to the store and talked to the store manager about it. She explained that I didn't get the phone for free because my phone plan was the basic one and I would have to upgrade to premium, I told her that no one had mentioned this to me and she didn't seem to care. She looked at my account and mentioned that there was no mention of my old phone being used as a trade in either. When asked about what they would do about the phone payments I was told "it's up to you if you pay or don't pay the bill", I asked her how would I be able to do that since it's set up as an automatic payment system and if I could cancel it from there which she replied with the same thing "it's up to you if you pay or don't pay the bill." I also asked for a refund on the device protection plan because I was clear the first time that I didn't want it and she said she couldn't give it to me. Not one apology was given to me the whole time I talked to the store manager. What am I able to do now?
