esim not downloading

I have two new phones on a xfinity account.   One for me and one for my wife.  We ported all the data for each phone from our old phones.  The problem occurred that the esim has reversed the numbers and now we have each others phone #s.  I tried deleting the esims and re-installing them bbut it won't let me do it.  Tried the manual method also- it keeps telling me I need to add a mobile network which I already have (xfinity) I have been going in circles and still can't download the esims necessary.
