eSIM Activation Loop (iPhone 11 Pro Max) - IMEI 2 Incorrectly Mapped as pSIM
Hello,
I recently ported my number to Xfinity Mobile (from another Verizon MVNO), but my service is stuck in an endless eSIM activation loop. I am using an iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Here is exactly what is happening:
- When I click "Get a new eSIM" in the app, it successfully stages a new profile.
- I enter the SM-DP+ address manually on my iPhone, and it successfully handshakes with the server, displaying: "Your new eSIM from Xfinity Mobile is ready to activate."
- When I click Continue, the network rejects the final download step and says "Unable to activate eSIM."
- Because that one-time profile token was consumed/burned by the failed attempt, trying again gives me the "eSIM cannot be added. The code is no longer valid" error.
The Root Cause: After hours in chat support, an agent confirmed that your system has my digital IMEI 2 flagged as "pSIM compatible." The backend incorrectly generated a physical ICCID and attached it to my digital slot. Because your server thinks it's looking for a physical SIM card, it is perpetually rejecting the digital handshake with my phone's EID.
What I Need: Standard chat support could not fix this device mapping error. I need an Advanced Resolution agent to manually wipe the physical ICCID attached to my line, remap my IMEI 2 to digital, and push a new eSIM profile using my device's actual EID.
Could an official Xfinity employee please send me a Direct Message? I am ready to securely provide my phone number, account info, and EID so we can get this fixed. Thank you!
