EQUIFAX DOES NOT CONTROL XFINITY MOBILE CREDIT LIMIT
I have spoken with Equifax 3 different times today regarding my credit limit for Xfinity Mobile. THEY DO NOT CONTROL IT! I have an xfinity mobile payment device plan and it's showing $0 available. I recently got married and while I have updated my name on my account, when I use the credit link to put my info in, it's still showing my maiden name. This is unbelievably frustrating and the agents need to be trained that Equifax do not control the credit limit.

Greetings, @user_kuz31o! I hope your week has been treating you well. I appreciate you taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about these device payment plan credit limit issues, and I want to ensure you’re able to get in touch with an awesome Xfinity Mobile expert to help get this resolved.
You are correct that Equifax does not control or determine your device payment plan (DPP) credit limit, at least not directly. Your credit limit is largely based on the total number of lines your account is eligible for, your tenure as an Xfinity customer, and your account payment history.
If you wish to request a higher DPP credit limit, you can consent to an external credit check, which may or may not involve Equifax, but this can only be done after the account has obtained an established payment history and tenure. How long have you been showing a $0.00 DPP credit limit? Was your limit higher before your name changed, or was this the first time it has been an issue?
