disable the radios in my XB7

I have put my XB7 in bridge mode to get rid of the wireless broadcasts and I have disabled the radios in regular mode. Despite this, the XB7 still broadcasts the Xfinity hotspot and it is a strong signal indeed. I don't want any wireless at all in my house. I have more wireless now than I ever have despite everything in my network being hardwired. I am not sure Xfinity is honest about this fact. Any suggestions?

I have heard there is a "surgical" procedure that can be performed on the XB7 to disable the radios physically, but that it is possible it won't work because there is possibly a separate radio that generates the hotspot signal that is blasting me now at -31dBm as I sit at my computer. I have also heard this is a very unhealthy signal strength to be sitting near...kinda like having the radio transmitter up your backside. I have been advised to engage the FCC regarding this too-strong signal that cannot be disabled by the user. Perhaps an Xfinity representative will respond to my query. I have been told nothing but lies so far by Xfinity personnel in the customer service department. Disabling the radios with software does not work.
