Comcast failure to port land line # to Xfinity mobile phone

Mobile team customer service keeps saying port of Comcast landline phone # to Xfinity mobile phone is scheduled for completion by a specific date, but port fails. Then call again and am assured port will be successful by a new date, but it fails again with no explanation provided for the failure. Is there anyone to contact at Comcast/Xfinity who can actually help or should I submit am FCC complaint?

Hello @user_d1gup3 thank you for taking the time to reach out on our community forum. I would like to take a look at your account to see how we can assist and see what may be happening with the porting process. I do see that you sent us a direct message as well. For future reference, please keep in mind that sending unsolicited private messages to an Official Employee of the Xfinity Help & Support Forums, is a violation of Forum Guidelines. In the future we ask that you please find the most appropriate public board for your question type and post it there. If needed, we may invite you to send us a Direct Message. With that being said, we can definitely take care of this for you from here. It just helps other members of the community with similar issues to find the answers they need.

user_d1gup3 Replying here would be public. You would want to do a direct message like the first time 2 days ago to provide that information in private. I'll post instructions just in case.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
