Comcast currently unavailable" when adding your Comcast email to iPhone and iPad
Yesterday afternoon both my IOS devices stopped receiving emails from comcast. I tried everything, even went as far as deleting the mail app and trying to reinstall comcast mail service but when I do I get "Comcast currently unavailable". I called Comcast but couldn't get a human on the phone, I called Apple and they tried everything they thought could be causing the issue but I still get the error. I have the latest version of IOS and am not running any VPN. I read some of the older posts and they seem to be more related to VPN which is not the case for me. It is strange that it started on both my IOS devices (iPhone and iPad) at the same time. I can logon successfully and get email if I use a browser on my iPhone and iPad. I am at a loss at this point, any help would be appreciated.

It seems IOS 15.8.4 could be knocking out comcast email. Two iphones, same model, one with latest OS, one with not. Updated phone now say Comcast unavailable.

I'm having the same issue on my iphone and Macbook pro. I can't get my comcast emails. First said my IP address was blacklisted, so I deleted my VPN. Now it says Comcast is not available. I tried deleting the email account but now I get the error when trying to add it back in. I have the latest IOS and comcast is the only email I am having issues accessing. Does anyone know a fix - other than needing to get a new email? I've had this email for over 20 years at this point.

I am having same issues that just started several days ago ( 11/5/2025) i have iphone 13 and running on 18.7.1. I still get the message "comcast is currently unavailable".
works fine via the email web access and via my HP laptop.
COMCAST when will this be rectified?

Comcast unavailable problem continues as of 11/08/2025. We have two iPhone 13s, latest software version installed. We have tried all tasks listed on this thread, nothing worked. Yesterday, 11/07/2025, I was working with a live agent of Comcast. We ended our session with Comcast telling me that their team was working on the issue, and it would be fixed within 1 to 4 hours. Still not fixed.

I successfully retrieved my Comcast Emails on my iPhone 13 by turning off my WiFi. The Emails popped up with at least two bars of Cellular service. Turned back on WiFi, and no Emil’s again. So, when I want to update my Email Inbox, I turn off my WiFi.

11/16/2025, my Emails on iPhone still not working with my home WiFi. I also tried my neighbors WiFi and still did not work. If I turn off my WiFi, then the emails popped up. Or, I need to go to Xfinity through my browser and check my emails from their website.
