Can’t attach photos on IPhone 16

I’m brand new to Xfinity.  I just transferred four lines from Verizon.   still have issues at attaching photos to email.  I have to restart a certain way each time and it works for a little bit then after that, nothing getting tired of this.  evidently this problem goes back a few years at Xfinity. Has the problem been fixed.  I’m gonna bail if it’s not
