Cannot Unlock Xfinity Only iPhone 14
My previous phone (iPhone 14 Pro Max) was bought used in 2024 and locked to Xfinity. It is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and has never been used on any other carrier that I am aware of other than Xfinity and had been my phone for several years. Over the last few days and hours of talking with various services reps, at first they indicated it was unlocked and then subsequently indicated it was locked and their was nothing they could do about it because it was a BYOD. I also have an email dated July 12, 2024 from Xfinity indicating this iPhone 14 Pro Max was unlocked. However, the phone has continued to show SIM locked. What can be done to unlock this phone which has always been tied to Xfinity?
