If you're trying to send a group text message from your Apple iPhone 16 (or any iPhone) without revealing the recipients to each other, you're essentially trying to "blind text"—similar to using BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) in email. Here's how you can do that:

✅ Option 1: Use Individual Messages (Manual)

Send the same message individually to each recipient. This ensures:

  • No one sees who else received the message.
  • Replies come only to you.

You can do this manually or use shortcuts or automation tools (like the Shortcuts app) to speed it up.

✅ Option 2: Use the Bcc Group Text Shortcut (Automated)

You can create or download a Shortcut that sends the same message to multiple people individually. Here's how:

  1. Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap + to create a new shortcut.
  3. Add the "Repeat with Each" action and select your list of contacts.
  4. Add the "Send Message" action inside the loop.
  5. Customize your message.

⚠️ What Not to Do

  • Group iMessage or SMS: If you send a group message normally, all recipients will see each other and can reply to the group.
  • BCC in Mail app: This only works for email, not text messages.
