Apple Watch scammed
Fell for your scam with the “free Apple Watch”. Upgraded a device on my mobile plan over the phone today, and at the end the rep pressured me into claiming a “free Apple Watch” for my 2 lines. I told him I don’t want to pay any monthly fee, what’s the catch? He says no catch they’re completely free, just ignore the initial $20 a month charge and don’t activate the watches to cellular service when they arrive. Hesitantly I said ok.
immediately after I started doing research and apparently this is a common scam you guys have been doing for years. And if I don’t activate my watches to cellular I’ll be charged the $300 device fee (per device, I was slotted 2) or I have to by the $26 a month for 2 watches

I recently encountered an issue while trying to return some watches. When I first called, I was having trouble with my internet, and now this supposed promotion has cost me several days and hours trying to return the watches to Xfinity. They even directed me to my local store, which is a 30-minute drive one way, but they told me they couldn't assist me. Please advise me on how to resolve this issue, as I am considering canceling all my services.
