Apple Watch from Xfinity - Such a Mess!

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.  I bought an Apple Wotch a month ago (3/12/2026).  I bought it online and got it set up the way I liked it.  It was great!  Well, I'd been using it for a month - it was paired with my phone - I was able to use the Apple ECG app, which is the reason I purchased the watch in the first place.  I got it through an xfinity promotion for $300 off a $500 watch suggested by my cardiologist for monitoring my Afib.

On Wednesday, this week (4/15/2026) I got a call from Xfinity that said the watch had never been activated. I was skeptical that it was Xfinity calling, so I terminated the call and called Xfinity back to make sure I was talking to the right people.  Sure enough, I needed to "activate" the watch on their system (which I thought had already been done.) Through a series of calls on Wednesday, a trip to the Xfinity Store on Thursday (4/16/2026), and more calls and a chat on Friday (4/17/2026), and seemingly no one could Activate the phone.  WHAT?  I bought it from Xfinity!

With all the STUFF that happened during those days, Now the watch ONLY keeps time. It no longer is connected with my phone - even though it says it is PAIRED, it seems to have no connection. The ECG APP is no longer on the phone and I can't see how to get it loaded, since before, I added it through the WATCH APP on the phone.  NO LONGER CONNECTED!  The estimated hours I spent dealing with this so far is about 15. The number of reps I spoke or texted with was at least 9.  I'm exhausted now and feel like throwing the watch away, BUT i'm stuck with the $10 fee monthly plus $5.55 more to pay off the other $200.

Has anyone else had a similar experience.  There seems to be NO ONE at Xfinity I can talk to who really knows what to do.  And the information changes from one person to the next.  At least I have a watch that tells time.  A $500 watch, that in the end after the 3 years I will have paid close to $600 for.  But I can tell time.  I can't make or receive phone calls. I can't get notifications of texts or emails.  It's basically worthless, except it keeps the time.  My phone does THAT!

Anyone?  And did you get it resolved?  And How?

UPDATE sort of - except we are back at the watch is just a watch.

Took it into the Xfinity Store again today.  He kept getting the same error I was getting  - I think he tried 4 times.  He finally took a different tack and set it up as a family member instead of form me.  ANOTHER new email - now it seems the phone is not paired with the watch - although the pairing was part of the process.  BUT the watch CAN send and receive calls.  It's just not connected to my phone.  I told them from the outset that I did not want a new phone number.  BUT OH WELL - I guess it is wat it is.

Well, back to the drawing board. When I have a moment, I'll check back in with tech support or take it back to the XFINITY Store (Eric rocks!) to see if I can eventually get the phone and watch connected.,
