android phone email problems

In response to your notice, I deleted and reloaded the Xfinity app on an Android phone.  The icon is the white X on a purple field.
 
I have some questions.
 Is the phone app with the icon white X on a purple field the correct version?
1. How do I get it to open my email?
2. From the app, before I reloaded it, I could trick it into opening my email and could do all email functions except attach files. How do I get it to attach files?
3. Logging on to Xfinity from Google search lets me get to my email, but when I close the email, I have to go through the Google search to log on again. It’s been months, if not years, of dealing with this.  On my computer, I can log on to Xfinity.com/hub and get into my email, no problem.  When will you fix the phone version of the app to work the same way?
4. My logon persists across sessions on my phone but not on my computer.  On my computer, my logon used to persist across sessions.  How do I get "keep me logged on" to work on my computer?

boman1231 Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forum. You asked some great questions and we'll be sure to answer them for you.

The link here (https://connect.xfinity.com/), is the answer to many of your questions. In regard to your staying logged in, that is going to be subject to your browser settings and we have an extra layer of security where you may be logged out on different devices which require you to sign in again. Generally, the more you use your devices the less likely you will be logged out but keep in mind that it still may be required from time to time.
