3000 email just uploaded for no reason

I had my inbox all up to date this morning and then I just went in a few hours later and it reuploaded 3,000+ emails that were previously filed, deleted or tagged.

Can Xfinity fix this on my Comcast’s e-mail, or am I really going to have to go through them one by one again?
this occurred on my IPad.

I can certainly understand your concern user_r7xobf. Were your emails deleted on the Mail app on the iPad, and then appeared on the same device? Or were they deleted on another device, and then showed back up on the iPad?

Thank you Xfinity employee, they were deleted on my IPad.  Now another 3,000 have uploaded.  I’m not sure if they are duplicates of the first 3,000 or just going farther back.  I’m just dreading having to deal with these individually.

a few months ago, I deleted my entire inbox through the Ixfinity/Comcast site, so I don’t know where or why these are coming from.  I see the normal amount are still on my Mac computer that I don’t often use.

@XfinityJon also I just checked and they did not upload to my phone, so only my iPad.

Okay, so they didn't come back to all of your devices? Just the iPad, correct? If so, could you try signing out of the email account on the Mail app on the iPad, and signing back in.
