Xfinity Home app missing security controls and arming/disarming features

I am experiencing an issue with the Xfinity Home app. When I open the app, it redirects me to the main Xfinity app. Additionally, within the Home section, I can only see my camera feed; all other functions, specifically the ability to arm and disarm my security system, have disappeared.

I rely on these features daily to manage access for my dog sitter and service technicians. Could you please help me troubleshoot why these controls are missing and how I can restore them?

user_h1001u Thanks for reaching out! I would recommend removing, and reinstalling the Xfinity Home app. Also, you will want to make sure you're running Apple (iOS 11+) or Android (OS 6+) on your device.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but the issue persists, and I am still being redirected to the main Xfinity app. I spoke with the Xfinity Home support team, and they confirmed that they are aware of the issue but could not provide an estimated date for when these features will be restored. This is a significant inconvenience, as I rely on these controls daily to manage my home security remotely. Could you please provide a timeline for when the arming and disarming functionality will be available again?

user_h1001u Thank you for the additional information! You may want to check to see if your Xfinity User ID is linked to more than one account, and ensure the account with Xfinity Home is selected as the primary account.

1. Visit https://customer.xfinity.com/ and sign in with your Primary Xfinity User ID.
2. Click the Account icon. Then select Account and Identity.
3. Click Xfinity ID and Security.
4. Scroll to Your Accounts to see the accounts your ID is linked to. Click Manage and link accounts.

I can still see my camera feed, but the arm and disarm functionality remains completely missing. Can you confirm whether the main Xfinity app is actually intended to support arming and disarming the security system? I assumed these critical controls would be a top priority before you began migrating features away from the Xfinity Home app.

Yes @user_h1001u, the Xfinity app supports arming and disarming your security system remotely.

Have you tried rebooting your Xfinity Home touchscreen panel? In some cases, a restart can help resolve communication or synchronization issues between the touchscreen and the app.

Additionally, does your physical touchscreen panel still show the arm/disarm options normally?

I have already tried rebooting the touchscreen panel and removing the battery, but the issue persists. Could you please clarify exactly where these controls are located within the main Xfinity app? As I mentioned, the only thing currently visible under the Home section is my camera feed. Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can take to restore the arming and disarming features?
