Xfinity a monopoly that needs some competitors

Xfinity should replace customers touchscreens to fully working and reliable options instead of resorting to these unreliable tactics.

Each and everytime,  I have felt let down by xfinity but it enjoys a monopoly and no choices in my area.

Hi @user_67ea89. When renting any Xfinity equipment from us, you can always upgrade or swap equipment for free! If a new touchscreen for you XH is available, you can request to swap for it.

@XfinityBilly hi. Thanks for your reply. I have been informed that loyal long time xfinity Home customers will HAVE TO PAY for the 4G compatible touchscreen even if the presently leased 3G touchscreens are becoming obsolete due to telecom operators switching off 3G waves permanently- while new customers who pay the same monthly charges  will get them by default.

This does not sound right to me,  what do you think?

I know with our newer Xfinity Home plans you purchase all of the equipment including the Touchscreen so a charge would be required to replace it (outside of the warranty). Our previous Xfinity Home plans the Touchscreen belongs to us so you have to return it if you cancel the service but we also upgrade the equipment for free since it is considered a rental. XfinityBilly and I both worked in the Xfinity Home department for a few years before moving to this department. I would like to take a deeper look at everything so we can get that changed out.
