X2cam
So I’ve been an XFINITY customer for 1 year now, and the 2nd month of having xfinity my camera started acting weird, so in March 2020 before the pandemic got out of control and they shut a lot of businesses down, I was subjected to deal with it until I complained a lot more they sent a tech out which didn’t help. Then finally XFINITY sent out a replacement camera. So, I know I never explained the problem. In 2020 my camera would record live feed and everything but thing was when I went to watch the live feed my my motion detection would catch the same thing over and over like it would repeat itself. So let’s fast forward to the end of 2020 this random car came pulled along side my camera or across the street to get a better view and took a picture after that night, the infrared light suddenly stopped working. If certain objects or if I walked in the camera I would disappear almost like I never walked outside. So I started paying more attention to the time stamps and seconds. So looking at all of that the seconds would go like 1,2,3,4,3,4,5,6. And it would repeat itself. Could anyone on this forum hep me.. Hopefully I made since..

Hi LA72 -
It sounds to me like your camera may be going offline or having trouble uploading video, which is causing issues with playback later. This could be due to poor WiFi connectivity.
Some things to try: if you have an Xfinity Wireless Gateway, it might help to upgrade to one of our newest models if you're using a slightly older one, such as the XB3 - the XB6 and XB7 have better performance and might resolve intermittent WiFi communication to the Cameras.
You can also try reorienting the Gateway - moving it closer, out in the open (not inside a cabinet) could potentially help.
If this advice doesn't work, I would suggest giving us a call to have another technician out to look at the signal strength between your Camera and your Xfintiy Wireless Gateway.
