Window sensors

I am getting new windows. Can I uninstall and re-install my Xfinity Home window sensors?

You don’t need to uninstall and install, just carefully peel off the 2 sensors for each window (minding the direction they’re facing), keep them together, so you can still arm/disarm the system. When you get the new windows try to put them in the same location, you may need new 2 sided tape

Thank you. I am concerned about the wiring that goes around the windows. What about that? Do I need a Comcast person to remove and re-install that?
