Visonic smoke detector keeps beeping after battery replaced
We have two Visonic MCT-427 SMA smoke detectors. I followed the instructions for replacing the battery in each smoke detector and also cleaned the smoke detectors. I then reinstalled each smoke detector, making sure it was securely attached to the bracket. About 30 seconds after reinstalling the smoke detectors, they each started beeping continuously. The only way to make it stop was to take down the smoke detector and remove the battery. None of the recommended steps has helped to resolve this issue. Am I at the point where I need to have a tech come out?

@user_ff335e, hi there! Thank you for creating a post on our Xfinity Home board. Did you happen to hit the tamper switch when you swapped the batteries? Also, some dust might have gotten lodged on the sensor when you cleaned it. Can you try hitting it with some compressed air?
