Does the touchscreen connect to the gateway/router? If so, it doesn't appear in in the xfinity mobile app under devices. The cameras the listed in the device section but not the touchscreen.

In most configurations with an Xfinity Gateway, the Touchscreen connects to a hidden SSID reserved for Xfinity Home - it would be normal not to see it listed as a device in the Xfinity app.  If your Touchscreen were to lose connection with the Gateway, you would see alerts on the Touchscreen itself, as well as in the Xfinity Home app.
