Touchscreen not connecting to Wifi

Touchscreen all of sudden won't get connect to wifi.  Everything else in house connected to Wifi just fine.  Chatted with online agent - unable to help -- did multiple reboots of security router, modem and touchscreen -- did not help

The front of security router is showing correct colors.  Ethernet cable to Xifi modem is showing orange light, changed ports and cables, and that did not fix.  Please help !

If you have an Xfinity Gateway, in most cases you would not need a separate security router (Netgear WNR1000).  In most cases, those are only installed when someone does not subscribe to Xfintiy Internet or when someone whishes to purchase their own Modem or Gateway.

 

If you do lease from us, did you recently change or upgrade your Gateway?  If so, it's possible the Touchscreen was associated to the old Gateway and for some reason did not re-associate to your new Gateway when it was provisioned.

 

I would give us a call to have an Xfinty Home agent take a look with you.  We may need to send a technician to your home to get things synched back up properly.
