That would usually mean that the cover wasn't completely snapped back in place after replacing the battery. There is a small switch inside the sensor (the "tamper switch") that needs to be pressed down... if the cover isn't put back on properly, the swich won't be engaged and that will cause the error message on the touchscreen.

I'm having the same issue with a Visonic MCT-320 SMA door sensor. Cover is on tight all looks good, but I still have the error.

had this "tampered with" message for over a year even though the cover is securely on.
impossible to try to get through tech support to help!
today finally just thought to stick a small piece of paper in that notch (they say not to touch) and it cleared the annoying code.
