Let's make sure the sensor and magnet are installed so that they're close enough together when the door/window is closed, and far enough apart when the door/window is open.
If this has been done already, please try removing the batteries for this sensor for about 10 seconds, then reinsert the battery to see if that helps.

I have three that keeps on faulting from a certain manufacture. Did everything from moving magnets to resets.
