Security Cameras
Good afternoon. We had a technician go to our home and troubleshoot our security system. He is telling us that the 4 cameras that we have are not functioning and we need to get new ones. What would the cost be for 4 cameras? Thanks

My question would be HOW do 4 cameras just go bad? I think the guy was incorrect with his diagnosis.
I install cameras for a living and have never had all cameras on a sytem go bad, its unheard of. I would ask comcast to send someone out for a second opinion before you spend a dime.

We have moved out to Washington State, and bought the camera package in September and most of the systems were installed at that time except the cameras. We were told a separate technician would come out since they needed to be hooked into the electrical panel for a cosmetic job. So we scheduled appointment, a week later they sent the wrong tech, the following week the tech was sick. My father passed away and I had to fly back east and I go COVID at the funeral. When we go back on track, the tech they sent out in January said he would just drill a hole in the exterior wall of the house and plug into an interior plug the house. So the end result would be a hole in the house and wire hanging down. Hardly cosmetic on a $500K with existing security cameras and wire tracks. So we went to Aberdeen to return Cameras, and talked to a person who identified himself as the "manager" of the store and he said he could take them. We had exceeded the 30 days to returned which I don't think it is our fault since the wrong and sick tech took care of the 30 day period. {edited for violating forum guidelines}
