question bout the comcast security keychain
was wondering if an alarm is triggered already/active does the remote still turn the audible alarm off? if so this wouldnt make a whole lot of since as couldnt a intruder break in and if they find the remote withen 30seconds disable it at no risk to self? say your sleeping?
is there a way to disable all but the panic button on the keychain?

Winterlover -
You are correct - an alarm in progess can be cancelled from a Key Fob / Keychain Remote. Therefore, you would not want to place this device in an area where an intruder would be easily able to locate it.
I can tell you that I hae accidentally hit the panic button on my Key Fob a few times over the years, and the Central Monitoring station immediately called to verify the alarm each time, even though the alarm was dismissed quickly... so in the event of an actual break-in, emergency services would still be dispatched if we were not able to reach one of the contacts on the account.
In general, we have gotten away from using Key Fobs / Keychain remotes (some markets no longer offer them) as an overwhelming number of customers prefer using the Xfinity Home App - and the app would require the Master Code to disarm the system in the event of a break-in.
