Plans to integrate with Google Nest API?

Are there any current plans to integrate with Google Nest API? I know Google had to go and mess up a good thing by moving away from the Nest API. I've been holding off on converting my Nest account so that I can maintain the Xfinity Home connection with my Nest thermostat. I'd really like to see integration with the new API so that I can maintain thermostat control and rules as well as possible further integration with my other Nest devices such as cameras and protect.

Integration with a third party API is never a good thing as this will allow an outside party separate from Comcast access to your home security system.

You may trust Google to keep your privacy secure, but I do not.
