Persistent High Ping to VALORANT NA Servers Since Late July 2026 – Possible Comcast Routing Issue

Hi, I’m experiencing a persistent increase in latency to VALORANT servers across all North American regions.

Before late July 2026, my usual ping was around 20–30 ms, but it has since increased to approximately 50–80 ms when connecting to other North American servers. My main server still gets around 25–30 ms, but playing with friends on other servers has become noticeably worse.

I’ve already contacted Riot Support, submitted network logs, and completed their recommended troubleshooting steps, including DNS-related fixes. I’ve also spent several days trying different solutions, but nothing has resolved the issue.

I’ve seen reports from other Comcast/Xfinity customers describing similar latency increases and possible routing or peering issues affecting gaming servers.

Could this please be investigated for a potential Comcast routing or peering issue involving Riot Direct? I’d appreciate escalation to the appropriate network team rather than repeating basic modem resets, DNS changes, or other troubleshooting steps I’ve already completed.

I’m happy to provide traceroute results or any additional network information that would help identify where the latency increase is occurring.

Thank you.
