Need a new cable for my camera

I need to replace the cable for my indoor camera and the RJ-45 i purchased through Amazon may not be what Xfinity uses based on another post that seems to use a different wiring diagram for their equipment.  So that being said, without scheduling a technician to come out, how do i go about getting a new cable?  The length is under 12ft....
