Monitoring after cancellation

The monitoring price for Xfinity home is insane.

If I were to cancel service, can equipment (we own) be activated with another monitoring company or Alarm.com?

Hello @BigBadBere , Thanks for reaching out here on Xfinity Forums. Most of the Xfinity branded equipment only works with our service. The door/window sensors may be able to integrate in to certain smart home setups but that is something you will need to confirm with the other brands.

I cancelled too because of the high price. I do have five cameras, indoor and outdoor, indoor only and a video doorbell. They can be self monitored for $10 a month. When you add each camera just click on video recording and they’ll charge youn $10 for up to 6 cameras a month.
