Legacy alarm equipment compatibility with xfinity home?

Since Comcast doesn't have humans to actually ask questions of and the website is not clear....does anyone one how to ask xfinity about legacy alarm equipment compatbility?  I currently have ADT and don't want to spend a forture replacing the key pads and sensors...but would like to switch alarm companies.

That’s truly a shame. If you have an Xfinity store nearby I would suggest a visit. Make a list of questions.

I was told by ADT that my Xfinity equipment is not compatible with ADT. I'd guess the ADT is not compatible with Xfinity.

Thanks Linda, there is a store nearby but i'm not sure if they are open.  Plus i have a broken ankle so getting around is tough.

They’re open by appointment only for now in my area. I have an appointment today for phones. I tried to call yesterday and I was told there is a 60 minute wait. Too much time on hold. It’s all very frustrating how Xfinity decided to hand Covid 19. Best Buy is appointment only as well. I refuse to buy a vehicle online. Good luck.

A couple of years ago I went from ADT to Xfinity. My wiring and hardwired sensors were compatible. They had to swap out the circuit board as th ADT board was not compatible. I have had two of the old hard wired sensors fail and they replaced the with wireless units. Happy with our service.

That’s true, and the information that your system is wireless would’ve been helpful in the original post

I didn't realize that at the time I posted the original question.
