Keypad Communications Failure

The batteries died in my wireless Keypad (Centralite).  I replaced the batteries, with fresh batteries, which I tested with a multimeter.  I put the keypad back on the wall.  I now have a "keypad communications failure" showing in both the app and on the touchpad.  The keypad lights work, and the buttons appear to work, but it will not arm or disarm the alarm system.  It appears the keypad is no longer paired/communicating with the system overall.  The online troubleshooting guide suggests resetting the keypad, but the instruction link does not work (just back to same troubleshooting page).  Can you 1) please post proper reset instructions for the Centralite keypad, and 2) please post instructions for re-pairing, assuming the reset does not solve the problem.  It is possible I triggered the tamper switch when opening the battery case, as it was difficult to open.

Thanks for reaching out through our community forums, user_3zmfdc! I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your wireless keypad! While we do not have steps to provide to pair the keypad, you can reset it by performing the following steps:
Ensure the system is disarmed to avoid false alarms.
Remove the keypad from the wall by sliding it upwards from the mounting bracket.
Remove and replace the batteries.
Reattach the keypad to the mounting bracket to eliminate the tamper warning.
Arm the system again.

Please let us know if that helps!
