Issues with VPN and Xfinity

Hi - Wife and I work from home and have used Xfinity without issue until about a week ago. Since then, neither our personal or work phones connect to our home internet and our work computers cannot access our home internet when their VPNs are active. This is impacting our ability to work.

@user_52ohg9 Good morning! We appreciate you reaching out to our Xfinity Forums for assistance with your internet connection. As someone that works from home, I can see how this would be frustrating. I'm here to help you get this figured out today. I have a couple of quick questions, so I know where the best place start is.

1. Do you see your home network as an available network to connect to?

2. Have you factory reset your modem, or changed your Wi-Fi password recently?

3. Are there any troubleshooting steps you have already tried?

Home network works fine on the tv and other devices, and for the computers, until we sign into VPN. Haven't reset, but tried unplugging, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging back in. Also turned off the advanced security for our xfinity wifi per another post on here.

user_52ohg9 Thank you for the quick response! Are you using any Mesh device, or Wi-Fi extender? When you try to connect to your VPN, are you just getting a "no internet access" message?

no internet access. Not using a mesh or extender.

user_52ohg9 Gotcha! Have you checked with your IT Team to see if anything changed with your VPN, or have any updates on your work computers? Sometimes if I have updates that I haven't run yet, it causes issues with my connection.

nothing changed on the VPNs. It is also impacting our personal cell phones, so nothing to do with the work VPNs.
