IR LIGHTS

How do you turn off the ir light. For us it doesn’t allow us to see at night because it’s too bright.

Hey there! @user_d36cc4

At this time there is no option to turn off the IR light from your camera.

I recommend that you adjust the camera angle and position so that the camera's field of view is clear of obstructions (as shown here https://comca.st/2U5nObn )

When the camera's night-vision infrared (IR) is active (in low-light or nighttime situations), the IR LED can reflect off of obstructions and back into the camera, causing a white ring effect.

Hope that helps!

@XfinitySheila this really would have been nice to know before I spend hundreds buying cams. Not all people can hang them outside. Behind glass at night my house is NOT protected and I'm livid!! Every other camera on the market has this feature. Now I'm out HUNDREDS of dollars!!!!!!! I have tried everything I can do to get better angles. I'm pissed!

Been waiting for this feature (turn off IR so you can put cameras looking out windows without reflection) for 9 years now . . .
