Eaten Cat 5e cable
My dogs ate the cat 5e cable that goes to the camera. Is the attachment to the camera an RJ 45? I know the plug at the power outlet is an RJ 45. If so how is the plug at the camera accessed? I’d rather replace the entire length of cable than try to splice the broken cable.

Greetings, @user_d060a9! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear your camera cable was damaged, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
To answer your question, it really depends on what kind or generation of camera you have installed. If you have one of the older Sercomm iCamera 1000s, or iCamera 2s, or the newer xCam, then you can use an RJ-45. If it helps, we can provide you one for free at any Xfinity Store. If you have something different, then it will depend on the specs of that particular camera. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
