DO NO GET HOME SECURITY

Home security has been a nightmare for 2 years. Do not use it. [Edited: Inflammatory] They do not charge you what they quote you. We were charged almost double the quote we were given with proof in writing and a phone call that was recorded. Our equipment is now paid off and they are still trying to charge us to use it. We downgraded to the self-protection which is only $10 a month which is great but you can only use half of what you used to be able to. We do not need some outside company to monitor our security system. We just need to know when someone's going in and out of our house. The touch screen that we pay for does not work properly now so you cannot see your cameras on it. And if you put your sensors on your phone, you cannot hear them on your touch screen so you can only use one or the other. [Edited: Inflammatory]

Why dont you just sell your touchscreen and sensors and use the xfinity app on a smart phone to monitor? I went from Home to Self Protect w/o a problem. I handed in my touchscreen and use my iPhone to monitor motion sensed and people/deliveries by the four cameras and one video doorbell. You have the ability to change from Home to Away on the app. When my cameras sense a person I get notified in seconds on my Apple Watch or iPhone. It’s actually much easier that way because you are not tied to the touchscreen.
