Disposal of Power Adapter

Just got the new and improved power adapter for my Xfinity Home system. Nothing in the box says what to do with the old one once I swap them out. Ideas?

TIA,

Homer

I'm glad you received your new adapter!  We did address this and a few other questions in this article:  Touchscreen Power Adapter FAQ

What do I do with the old adapter?
Once you've successfully installed the new adapter, the old adapter is no longer required. Please do not dispose of the old adapter in the trash. Check with your local waste carrier or your municipality to learn where it can be recycled.

@XfinityBecker

Thank you. I find it interesting as my adapter did not come with any instructions. It had the inner box with the adapter, and nothing else. Someone at the manufacturer missed it.
