Zero competitive pricing and options to keep a 20 + year member.
I usually just move on with this type of thing but I am amazed at how Xfinity is treating their customers. Since we get to play the promo game with Comcast, my promo pricing is up and there is no way to get a competitive price for internet. Gone are the days of being able to talk to someone that has been enabled with the right tools to support a customer. In my area, Google finally came in with a decent service. 1Gb up and down for $70. I am paying $60 for 500Mb down and 100Mb up. New comcast price will be over $100. Well, I bet you are just saying jump ship and go to Google. I really don't need that type of speed and would like a lower price. So I have tried my best to get a lower speed option with a lower price from Comcast with no response. Just got off a call with comcast and they had no way to help me. Great rep, with no way to support a customer. The comcast executives seem to only be interested in being a 3rd party middleman mobile provider buying cell time from Verizon. Just crazy. I can't even get the $35 promo for 300Mb and a mobile line. To end this rant, I am going to move to Google and hope Google decides to offer a lower speed tier in the future. So good bye comcast, hope you make it. Maybe look at Radio Shack as an example of how to be a 3rd party middleman mobile provider..... oh wait, they went bankrupt.

To follow up, after talking to the AI and saying no 20 times for her to send a text only to have the Xfinity AI text me a link to another AI instead of letting me talk to a human, I have committed to Google Fiber and will be moving over to a service that I can talk to next week. I am unsure how a business can justify the AI experience they are providing to their customers along with the pricing they are offering. My next bill would have been $106 for 500Mb down and 100Mb up. I will now be paying $70 for Google Fiber for 1Gb down and 1Gb up. While I do not need that speed, I was left with no choice after being pushed from Xfinity's service due to price gouging. Xfinity has made it more painful to stay with them than the pain of moving services after 20 plus years. [Edited: "Solicitation"]. [Edited: "Solicitation"].
