“Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account. PPG_0017_5012221“

I’ve been having an ongoing issue; my Streamsaver subscription through Xfinity that I pay $18 per month for isn’t allowing me to activate my Peacock Premium account. It says it’s in “Activation required” status but when I try to activate it/login with my existing credentials through xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions, I get the error- “ Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account. PPG_0017_5012221“
I was told on February 8, 2026 in an Xfinity support chat, “As this issue is ongoing, it will be fixed today, and you will receive the email confirmation as well. Rest assured, you will not be charged, and I will apply the compensation as well.”
To my knowledge the issue was not resolved and no compensation was applied so I followed up again and I was then given CR Ticket #[Edited: "Personal Information"] through another Xfinity support chat session.
As of today, my issue is still not resolved and I’m disappointed in how it’s been handled thus far. My most recent attempt to resolve this was handled by just advising me to call another number for technical support and pressuring me into a higher internet speed plan.

At this point, I would like my issue with not being able to activate my Peacock subscription to be escalated and resolved as soon as possible; I would also like to be retroactively refunded for the time I was unable to access the streaming service.

hcselfridge Welcome to our community forum! Thank you for letting us know that you're running into issues activating your Peacock subscription so we can help. I usually see this error when my customers had previously used a different Email address to set up Peacock. Did you try to activate with an other Email addresses that you could have used for Peacock in the past?

Hi Emily B, thank you for the quick reply. No, I’ve always used the same Gmail email address for my account.
