You can rename Comcast to Xfinity, but the customer service is still horrific
Comcast is an absolute nightmare to deal with. My last promotion for internet ended and I called up Comcast to talk to someone about what other promotions are available. Since Comcast doesn't want you to talk to a real person, your only recourse is to use their messaging system. Spent an hour with a rep on messaging who found a deal with internet and mobile (which I really didn't want, but that was the best deal that he found). I was sent link after link to set things up, and apparently the mobile portion was set up when the entire messaging system dropped without completing the transaction. Called up Comcast again, and through some miracle, I was able to navigate through all the robots to finally get a real person, who had no idea anything that happened with the previous rep and had to start from scratch. This rep found the same promotion at a more expensive price. Since this was not what I was promised, I asked to speak to a supervisor. Crazy enough, he was able to find the exact same promotion that I was on previously which is what I wanted when I first contacted Comcast over 2 HOURS AGO. However, since the first rep set up the mobile service, I had to deal with 2 other reps in that department to cancel the mobile service that I never wanted in the first place. Another real bonus to all of this is that not a single rep that I ever talked to was a native English speaker, so it was near impossible to even know what the heck was going on throughout the entire transaction.
