Xumo Setup PIN

To set up my xumo box and link it to my xfinity account it needs a pin. It does not accept the pin I would have used, it does not accept the last 4 of ANY of the phone numbers on my account. The name it displays is the one on my account. I've called the number it gave me and spoken to Xfinity Support who was convinced that the HDMI cable was somehow the problem with an ACCOUNT PIN. This is a common issue and so far Xfinity has been USELESS so far in resolving it. Constructive help is greatly appreciated.

user_2n80jk Welcome to our community forum! Thank you for reaching out so we can help activate your Xumo Stream box. The PIN should be the last 4 digits of the primary phone number on file unless you set up a purchase PIN. You can view and/or change the primary phone number here
You can learn more about setting up a Purchase PIN here. Please let me know if this helps you locate the correct PIN so you can start enjoying your Xumo box :).

Hi Emily, thank you for your fast and relevant response. The phone number listed on my account (which is correct) does not work and I did not set up a purchase pin because I can't even log into the stream box. Thank you

Let's keep working together until we get the new streaming box up and running. Please send a direct message to Xfinity Support by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Include your name and address in the body of the message so I can find your account and get started on a resolution.
