XG1v4 self-install request
Hopefully I understand the process correctly based upon the few related messages I have read in these forums.
Apparently I need to request a 4k DVR (XG1V4) self-install kit here, in the Customer Service forum and then wait for an Xfinity CSR to ask me to send them a private message with my request. Well, I have a Netflix premium subscription and a 4k capable TV so I'm requesting an XG1v4 box so I can watch the 4k content at the 4k resolution. There's also an issue with my current equipment where the audio isn't synced worth the video. I've tried adjusting all of the related audio settings, those on the cable box/dvr, those on the television and those on the soundbar (connected via optical cable) and while I've managed to lessen the delay, the audio is still noticeably off from the video feed.
