Xfinity’s internet deals are scams do not trust them
I can’t even fathom how frustrated I am with their incompetency and this is the second time that the situation has happened to me but no one can resolve the issue THEY caused. For wanting to snatch a good deal, I’ll call and check online for their interest price every time when the contract was almost expired. The first time happened last year in October/November time where the representative I was talking to was able to give me an awesome deal and I accepted it. Somehow their system went to error and order did not go through but I did give my consent on the phone. Every conversation was recorded and I thought it was good to go. I checked my account online and found that my deal was not applied to my account. I called again to ask for help they told me they’ll try to resolve this. Mind you, I was on the phone for almost 2 hours. After when I was back from my trip, I called again and stayed on the phone for over an hour and they ended up told me the deal was expired so they couldn’t apply that deal no more. They suggested me to call back next month to see if the same deal came back so I did. God if I knew I was gonna be on the phone for another 1.5 hour to just get the same answer I would’ve just cancel it. The manager ended give me only 3 months of credit for me to be able to pay the original price, but he ensured me if I saw any deals better I could always call back. Last month on 2/16/2026, I called because I saw a good deal to lower my bill and got a better speed plan so I called. The lady was nice and walked me through the process and this time she ensured me that the deal will be applied and even gave me an order number so I believed her. In fact, I did see the deal got applied the next day and I was happy about it but god would I know when I went pick up my free gateway from the store and connected it and everything went wrong again. Same old same, I called and was on the phone for over an hour to try to resolve this. The representative ensured me that I will see the change in the next 24 hours. Of course, no changes were applied and I was just confused. The deal also included free peacock premium and now we got nothing! Today I went to the store to talk to the real person and she told me because I was using the same name so they cannot apply the deal because that is only available for new customers. First, why are there different statements about the same thing for the same company? Second, she told me the representatives on the call were often confused, then is this a company issue where you’re causing inconvenience and confusion to your customers? She then told me either way that deal is now expired and not available but they have the one that will cost $10 more. This is a scam and it’s crazy how they can just use the same excuse to ask you to pay more, and how even if they can refer back to every recordings of conversation they still denied the deal. l I don’t think being loyal to this company will benefit the customers because obviously they will try to charge you more once you had had their service. DO NOT TRUST THEM! It’s a shame they used to be good but now they’re probably the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with.

Update: direct message the team. Got the same old same response of no available deal and can’t help. Please GO BACK TO YOUR RECORDINGS instead of making me sound like I’m lying!

Additionally, apologies are not going to solve the issue and do not cover the fact where you guys are fraud and not validate the deals you offered. I will make sure a larger population know this experience I had.
