Xfinity's email transition date???
I heard that Xfinity is transitioning to Yahoo for email, but haven't gotten any email for this. I've gotten scammers who say they're from Xfinity, but there's no way to verify anything. How can I verify that the email is TRULY from Xfinity????

Hi cn13! Thanks for reaching out on our Xfinity Forum. We appreciate you being a customer with us, and my team is here to support you. The transition for Xfinity email users to Yahoo Mail began in June 2025, with invitations rolling out gradually through 2026. Customers will receive notifications in their inbox or upon signing in to connect.xfinity.com when it's time to upgrade. Once they accept Yahoo's terms of service, they will only be able to access their Comcast.net email through the Yahoo Mail platform.
To confirm an email is from Xfinity and not a scammer, look for the Xfinity Verified Email symbol next to any email in your Xfinity Email inbox. Additionally, be cautious of any email requesting personal information, as Xfinity will never ask for sensitive details like passwords or billing information via email. If in doubt, you can verify the email's authenticity by visiting the official Xfinity website, using the Xfinity Assistant for assistance, or double-checking with us.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns we can assist you with.

You don't need an email. Instead, log in to https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/emailMigration. If the account you log in with is ready to be migrated, that page will say so:
