Xfinity won’t unlock phone

complaint

We have chatted with the assistant, called twice and gone in person to the store to have a fully paid off phone unlocked and Xfinity still has not unlocked it. We have spent hours on this with no resolution. The representative in store actually created a ticket, but that was closed without resolution and when we called, the representative could not “find” the phone at all. The phone representative claimed they created a ticket and it would be resolved in 24 hours but we never heard back.

This is absolutely absurd. We are considering moving all of our service to Verizon, making a formal complaint and pursuing legal action. Xfinity needs to give us access to our property.
