Xfinity won't take my money to switch from ATT mobile
I'd love to add mobile service to my internet service account...I keep getting emails and mailers about the great deal I'm passing up. But when I try to move my existing ATT phone line, I'm stopped by a message with several credit limit issues that don't make a lot of sense. I also want to add my husband's phone line and take advantage of the deals available for new phones, but even if I pay up front for the phone (no payments over time), I can't get past the credit limit screen. I have excellent (800+ score) credit. I have an Xfinity internet account in good standing. Why won't Xfinity let me add mobile service???
I've seen a forum message mentioning an issue with a second account address for internet interfering with mobile service...I recently had a second address for internet because I was moving between an apartment and a house, and had two service addresses temporarily. That second service address is now inactive, but still shows up on my account.

@user_6d0ee7 We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us. I can understand the frustration if you are trying to get set up with Xfinity Mobile. Due to account security with Xfinity Mobile we don't have access to the Xfinity Mobile accounts. You would need to reach out to that department separately by calling or texting 1-888-936-4968 and one of our dedicated Xfinity Mobile specialists are there for assistance 24/7. You can also visit our Xfinity Mobile assistant page, where we have support available thorough chat as well: https://comca.st/3vkGv93.

@user_6d0ee7 Oh no! That is definitely something our team can help you look into. Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address.
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
