Xfinity WiFi Modem Combo
My rented Xfinity Wifi/Modem is about 5 years old. Lately it has been dropping the connection and quickly reconnecting. Maybe its an equipment problem but not sure.
My WiFi/Modem Combo is an ARRIS TG1682G. Does anyone know if this is the latest equipment. Also there is an Xfinity store close to me and if I need to exchange how hard is this to set up in my home and bring the old equipment back. The Xfinity Rep set up the one I have now and got it operating but not sure that is being done these days. I have some kind of wireless plan $5.95 a month but not sure what it covers. Thanks for any help.

Hello, @Terry0327. I hope you're having an incredible day. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your connectivity. The model number you shared is not our latest modem. I would be more than happy to mail one to you but it will take up to 3-5 days before you receive it.
