Xfinity Vs Att
AT&T Customer Service Review
I have contacted nearly everyone listed on the Elliott Advocacy AT&T executive contact page, including the CEO, president, vice presidents, and other corporate representatives. I explained my situation in detail and provided screenshots and supporting documentation. Despite all my efforts, I have not received a single response.
My experience with AT&T has been completely different from my experience with Xfinity.
Xfinity has its problems, especially frequent service outages, but its corporate customer service has been far better in my experience. Whenever I email someone from Xfinity corporate, they always—and I mean always—contact me back within minutes. It does not matter whether I contact them during the day, late at night, on a weekend, or even on a holiday. Someone responds quickly and makes an effort to help me.
Xfinity representatives have gone above and beyond to investigate my service problems and complete the necessary repairs. They have sent technicians to inspect the lines inside and outside my home. On several occasions, they have even sent supervisors to ensure that the problems were properly addressed.
That is the type of customer service I consider top-notch. Xfinity also gave me a generous account credit for the outages and inconvenience I experienced, which I greatly appreciate.
Xfinity offers payment arrangements for telephone, television, Internet, and mobile services. These options can make a major difference when customers are experiencing financial difficulties.
My biggest complaint about Xfinity has always been the frequent outages. However, the company has made genuine efforts to restore my service, investigate the cause of the problems, communicate with me, and follow up afterward.
With AT&T, I have experienced the complete opposite. I contacted numerous corporate executives, explained a serious and ongoing problem, and supplied documentation, yet I have not received a meaningful response.
I have been an AT&T customer since 2012 and have spent thousands of dollars with the company. Over the years, I paid in full for at least 10 iPhones. I have never left a past-due balance on my telephone, Internet, or cable accounts. In fact, after my accounts were settled, the companies ended up owing money back to me.
Considering my long history of paying my bills and purchasing expensive devices in full, I should at least receive a response when I take the time to escalate a serious issue.
Because of AT&T’s complete lack of response, I have decided to stay with Xfinity. Xfinity may have technical problems, but when I ask for help, someone responds quickly and makes a genuine effort to resolve the issue. AT&T has left me feeling completely ignored and unappreciated as a longtime customer.
In my experience, Xfinity provides top-notch corporate customer service. Once the company permanently resolves its outage problems, I truly believe it could become the number-one Internet, cable, and mobile-service provider in the world.
Thank you again, Xfinity, for responding to my concerns, working to repair my service, and providing a generous credit for the inconvenience. I truly appreciate your efforts.
