Xfinity visa debit card welcome gift expired before activation
Hi, Xfinity sent me a $150 visa debit card as a welcome gift when I first joined Xfinity. I forgot to use it and it expired few months ago. I have not even activated it. I called may times and was put on hold for hours and calls just kept disconnecting. Can you please help me? I am hoping that since I did not use the card at all, Xfinity can send me a new one?

Hi there @Proy1 and thank you for bringing this to our attention, we're definitely able to assist here on the Xfinity Support Forums.
Visa Prepaid cards expire six months (180-days) after the month issued. For example, if the card is issued in January, it will expire on July 31. Please note that Visa Prepaid cards issued after the 25th day of the month will have the following issuing month's expiration date. For example, cards issued on January 25 will expire on August 31. Normally, cards cannot be reissued once expired.
That said, we can submit for a new card to be sent out, so long as the expired card was not used. We'll have to open a claim with the finance team. All in all, it can take between 2-3 weeks for a new card to be approved and arrive. Could you send us a direct message so we can open a claim for you? Thanks!
